.COM / .NET to become costlier by 7 to 10% from July 1, 2010

On July 1, 2010, VeriSign, the registry for .COM and .NET, will increase prices.
It is expected that price of .COM will go up 7%, and price of .NET by 10%.
This increase in price will be applied to all registrars, and finally will be applied to we consumers.
The increase in price will be applied on new registration, renewal and transfer of domains.
If you wish to avoid this price increase, you can register new domains or renew your domain names by June 30.
